Cargilintide

Cagrilintide is an investigational, long-acting synthetic amylin analog peptide developed by Novo Nordisk. It mimics the natural hormone amylin to delay stomach emptying and signal fullness in the brain. It is primarily studied for weight management and obesity, both alone and combined with semaglutide (known as CagriSema). It is not FDA-approved.
